Our Maraging electric épée features a Maraging blade, approved by the International Fencing Federation (FIE). Maraging steels are renowned for their high strength and hardness, whilst retaining excellent ductility. They have a higher yield strength, allowing them to flex more than standard blades. The blades can therefore, in theory, bend further than others before the metal undergoes irreversible deformation and before they break. But yes, a Maraging blade can break. Whilst Maraging steel is designed to be hard and strong, it is not indestructible; breakage usually results from bending in the opposite direction to the curve of the blade or from an incorrectly performed blade straightening procedure. Our Maraging electric épée can be fitted, at the customer’s choice, with either a French or a German tip. The handles, made in our workshops (except for foreign models) will offer you an exceptional ergonomics. The guard interiors we manufacture are the most robust on the market. The quality of manufacture of the sockets guarantees you a great durability in time without technical worries.

This epee comes fitted as standard with an ultra-light sword guard (ref 537). If you would like a titanium epee guard (ref 538), please follow these steps:

• Order your mounted weapon
• You can also order the titanium guard (ref 538)
• Please specify in the comments section when confirming your order that you would like your weapon fitted with the titanium guard.

Once you have placed your order, you will be refunded for the ultra-light sword guard (ref 537).
