Maraging BF blade (Blaise Frères) sabre

Description

Our Maraging BF (Blaise frères) electric sabre blade, forged in France, is undoubtedly the best blade in the world.

They have a higher yield strength, allowing them to bend more than standard blades. The blades can therefore, in theory, bend more than others before irreversible deformation of the metal occurs and also before they break. But yes, a maraging steel blade can break. Whilst maraging steel is designed to be hard and strong, it is not indestructible; breakage is generally caused by bending in the opposite direction to the curve or by an incorrectly carried out blade straightening operation.

The Maraging steel blade is mandatory for international competitions according to the standards of the International Fencing Federation (FIE). PRIEUR SPORTS selects its blades to bring you maximum safety and performance.

IMPORTANT: If you would like to order more than three blades, please email contact@prieur-sports.com and specify the quantities you would like. (Except for orders with pickup at a pickup location.)
