Our Maraging BF (Blaise Frères) electric epee blade, forged in France, is unquestionably the best blade in the world. They have a higher yield strength, allowing them to bend more than standard blades. The blades can therefore, in theory, bend more than others before irreversible deformation of the metal occurs and also before they break. But yes, a maraging steel blade can break. Whilst maraging steel is designed to be hard and strong, it is not indestructible; breakage is generally caused by bending in the opposite direction to the curve or by an incorrectly carried out blade straightening operation.

Our Maraging BF (Blaise Frères) electric epee blade can be mounted with either a French or German tip. You can choose the hard or medium Maraging blade depending on your shooting style and expectations. It offers you the best possible safety and is mandatory for international competitions according to the International Fencing Federation (FIE) standards.
